How To Rent a Self-Service Bike

The Steps

Download the APP

OR

1.1 Install the On Bike Share app.

1.2 When prompted, find our system: Click JOIN and start typing Pittsburgh Premium Bike Rentals. Then select it.

1.3 Read and accept the waiver.

1.4 You will receive an email/text to activate your account.

Check Out and Enjoy the Ride

2.1 Open the app. Press AVAILABLE BIKES and wait for bikes to load.

2.2 Press RIDE for the bike number you want to use.

2.3 You will be prompted to choose a rental option and enter credit card information to pay for the rental.

2.4 The bike will electronically unlock from the rack. Removing the bike begins the rental.

2.5 Enjoy the beautiful trails, remember to follow road signs and yield to pedestrians.

Return the Bike

BIKE MUST BE RETURNED TO SAME CHECKOUT STATION YOU STARTED FROM

3.1 Dock the bike to the pin on the rack.

3.2 Confirm bike is docked.

3.3 Press the END RIDE button on the Active Ride screen.

You are financially responsible for the bike until the ride is ended in the app

Self-Service bikes are available at the North Park location.

All Rental bicycles are new, easy-to-operate bikes with automatic docking technology and include a water bottle holder and kickstand.
